By the sector, for the sector
The member forum where the network sets its priorities and shapes what comes next.
The FACE Summit is where members come together to shape the direction of the network. It is a one day strategic forum held once a year, bringing practitioners, researchers and leaders from across the sector into the same conversation to review progress, test ideas and agree what matters most for the year ahead.
The Summit is a working session. Where the conference opens up broad dialogue, the Summit is where members roll up their sleeves. Facilitated workshops give everyone space to interrogate ideas, pressure test assumptions and prioritise what matters most.
It is run by the sector, for the sector, so the priorities that emerge reflect real experience rather than received wisdom. Every member voice counts, and the outcomes shape FACE's policy positions, research themes and future direction.
Structured sessions that give every member space to contribute, not just listen.
A candid space to test ideas and challenge assumptions in good company.
Collective agreement on what the network should focus on next.
A direct hand in shaping FACE's policy positions, research themes and direction.
The Summit exists so the network's direction is set by the people who do the work. Together, members:
The Summit is designed to produce more than good conversation. The priorities agreed here guide FACE's work through the year, from the themes we champion in policy to the questions we pursue in research and the support we offer members. By drawing together insight from across the sector, the Summit keeps FACE accountable to its members and rooted in what the sector actually needs.
The Summit is a member event, open to everyone in the FACE community, from early career staff and researchers to senior leaders and community partners. Whatever your role, your perspective helps set the direction.
We are a community delivering activity to support all groups of students, so we want our events to be accessible too. The host venue works with AccessAble to provide detailed information about the accessibility of its facilities. Please let the organisers know of any access needs you have and the team will get in touch to make sure you have everything you need to take full part in the Summit.
